REKLAIM Watch Service Process

At Reklaim, every timepiece receives the same meticulous care and attention to detail that defines our brand.

Our expert team follows a multi-step process designed to honor the craftsmanship of the original manufacturer and the integrity of the watch.

Every watch sold by REKLAIM arrives to our customers in an Unworn/Like New since service condition

1. Intake & Assessment

  • Visual Inspection: We begin with a careful, hands-on review—examining the case, crystal, dial, hands, and bracelet for wear or damage.
  • Performance Testing: Using state-of-the-art timing machines, we measure accuracy and power reserve to determine which services are required.

2. Disassembly & Deep Cleaning

  • Complete Take-Down: The movement, case, and bracelet are fully disassembled.
  • Ultrasonic Cleansing: Internal components are immersed in an ultrasonic bath, removing every trace of dust, old lubricant, and residue.
  • Precision Polishing: Our master polishers refinish the case and bracelet to “like-new” luster, respecting every original curve and bevel.

3. Genuine Parts & Components

  • OEM Sourcing: Any worn or damaged part is replaced with factory-spec components, ordered and vetted by our watchmakers to maintain authenticity and longevity.

4. Movement Repair & Restoration

  • Component Diagnostics: Each gear, spring, and jewel undergoes individual testing.
  • Expert Adjustment: Worn parts are carefully replaced or restored, then lubricated with specialized oils.
  • Regulation: We fine-tune the escapement and balance system, running repeated timing tests to ensure the movement meets—or exceeds—original specifications.

5. Reassembly & Calibration

  • Precision Assembly: Using high-accuracy tools, we rebuild the movement, refit the dial and hands, and reunite the fully polished case and bracelet.
  • Timing & Positional Testing: The watch is calibrated across multiple positions to guarantee consistent timekeeping and optimal power reserve.

6. Water-Resistance Verification

  • Seal Replacement: All gaskets and seals are refreshed to factory tolerances.
  • Pressure Testing: We conduct rigorous pressure tests to certify the watch’s water-resistance rating.

7. Final Quality Control

  • Comprehensive Inspection: A senior watchmaker performs a final visual and functional check, confirming that every element—from case finish to timekeeping—is flawless.
  • Photographic Documentation: We capture high-resolution images of the restored timepiece before packaging and shipment.
